Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Talent Management is responsible for continuing to strengthen Logic’s ability to attract, select, develop and retain talent making it a differentiating capability for our company. Strives to understand the talent needs; co-develops and ensures execution of the Talent Management agenda that supports the business strategy. The role is intended for an individual who is seeking a challenging and growth opportunity in a mid-sized global organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Provide thought leadership for implementing performance management, compensation and talent development strategies that drive business results.
  • Develop and communicate organizational strategy for performance management and succession management.
  • Manage the competency model, performance appraisal process and learning management system.
  • Collaborate with Practice Leaders to provide coaching and development plans for employees.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Aid in designing and developing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
  • Develop project plans and manage to timelines and budgets related to various organizational development initiatives.
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve client satisfaction and assist employees to deepen client and project team relationships.

Recruiting

  • Collaborate with Consulting Practice and Delivery organization to ensure that the right talent mix and capacity are available for Logic’s current customer projects as well as longer-term business outlook.
  • Manage the talent acquisition team and oversee the execution of the recruiting process.
  • Promote and market Logic’s talent brand.
  • Facilitate the use of subcontractor resources as appropriate.

HR Administration & Operations

  • Escalation point for employee relations issues.
  • Investigate and respond to claims as needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance organization on benefits program administration.
  • Collaborate with Legal team to continually update the company handbook, policies and procedures, and aid with compensation, FMLA, DLOA, ADA and related employment matters.
  • Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or other related area.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in recruiting, human resources or resource administration.
  • Talent mindset and approach to problem solving.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
  • Experience in public communications and consensus building.
  • Facilitates team meetings and one on one coaching effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
  • Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.

Knowledge, Skills & Certifications

  • Excellent ability to identify business issues quickly and to provide practical and constructive talent solutions in a time-sensitive, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effectively communicating with senior management.
  • Ability to provide strong interpersonal/influence skills in dealing with all levels of management.
  • Strong ethical orientation, ability to keep confidences, follows through on commitments and the ability to encourage similar traits throughout the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of management styles.
  • Highly motivated, independent self-starter and proven ability to multitask.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
